Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has step down from his post, taking moral responsibility for the deaths that occurred during Gen Z protests across the country on Monday.

As per a source, Lekhak tendered his resignation to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during the evening cabinet meeting.

So far, 19 people have been declared dead after Gen Z protest turned violent following which Lekhak stepped down as Home Minister citing moral grounds.
